Expertise
Malcolm was previously a Research Fellow at SPRU (Science and Technology Policy Research at the University of Sussex), and has also worked in the voluntary sector with a number of NGOs. His research interests span a range of environmental, sustainable development and technological policy issues, including: sustainable development (SD) research policy; participatory decision-making and technological assessment; foresight, futurity and socio-economic scenario building; the implementation of European environmental policies; environmental management and industrial pollution control; and, agricultural, food and biotechnological research policy.
