Making it Work
The Practicalities of Working with the Independent Sector
Edited by Isobel Allen, Liz Perkins and Shirley Bourke Dowling

This publication brings together the papers delivered at the second national Caring for People who Live at Home Conference held by the Policy Studies Institute in 1994, which focused on the practical issues associated with making the mixed economy of care work.

The aim of the conference was to disseminate information about the work of the Caring for People who Live at Home Initiative and to stimulate debate among practitioners through a wide range of workshop sessions.
