Improving Access to Information Services for Disabled PeopleIt was not originally planned to publish these papers from the National Disability Information Project's 1993 Conference, but due to public demand and the quality of the contributions, they were made available in printed form.
The papers cover a wide range of topics including: the place of information provision in the disability movement; the role of the statutory sector in supporting local information services; and the issues associated with informing people about disability benefits. They stimulated a great deal of discussion at the Conference, and we hope that their publication will help those who were not there to share in the continuing development of services.
