Study design
This study uses the Labour Force Survey to identify those couples who would have qualified for New Deal for Partners (NDP). The characteristics of this client group will be examined and the extent to which they move between the economic states of inactivity, unemployment and employment. Factors associated with these transition will be considered using econometric techniques.
