PSI at key EU Minerals Policy Lab
Last week, PSI researchers Martha Bicket and Pete Barbrook-Johnson participated in a high-level meeting to discuss good governance in minerals policy in Europe.
Hosted by the Vienna University of Economics and Business, this two-day ‘policy laboratory’ was the first of five such events as part of the EU-funded MIN-GUIDE project. The event was attended by key stakeholders from the European Commission (DG Growth and EASME), policy, industry, Geological Surveys, research, and civil society from across a wide range of EU Member States.
The MIN-GUIDE project is funded under Horizon 2020. PSI leads Work Package 1, which oversees the development and delivery of the project’s key output: the Minerals Policy Guide, an online knowledge repository of information relevant to minerals policy across the entire minerals value chain.
