Review and evaluation of BIG funding for older people
January 2007 to May 2007
Background, summary and aims
This project has been commissioned to review and evaluate previous and current initiatives for older people which have been funded by the Big Lottery Fund (BIG), with a view to informing future policy development in this area. It will include a literature review, a review of BIG data and evaluation reports on projects, and depth interviews and focus groups with project workers and beneficiaries. The aim is to showcase examples of good practice, explore unmet needs, and identify how BIG's funding strategy can complement broader policy agendas in relation to older people.
